Permanent Makeup

What is permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup uses a fine needle to implant pigment into the skin — enhancing the brows, lips or lash line so the definition is always there, even without cosmetics. Results are semi-permanent: the colour softens naturally over time rather than disappearing overnight.

Is permanent makeup safe?

In the hands of a trained and experienced practitioner, yes. Jade has 16 years of experience and follows strict hygiene protocols — single-use, sterile needles for every appointment, and only professional-grade pigments. All procedures are performed in a clean, controlled studio environment.

Does permanent makeup look natural?

When done well, it should look like the best version of you — not obviously "done." Jade's approach is rooted in enhancement, not transformation. Every design is adapted to your face, your features and your lifestyle.

Can permanent makeup be removed?

It fades naturally over time, usually over 1 to 4 years depending on the service and your skin. Lightening or removal with laser is possible but requires a separate specialist. The best approach is always a careful first session — which is exactly how Jade works.

02

Microblading

What is microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent brow technique that uses a fine manual tool to create hair-like strokes within the skin. The result is natural-looking brows with realistic texture — not a filled, drawn-on look.

Does microblading hurt?

Most clients describe it as light scratching rather than pain. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the session, and Jade works gently and gradually. Many clients are surprised by how comfortable the experience is.

How long does microblading last?

Typically 12 to 24 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and sun exposure. Oilier skin tends to soften the strokes sooner. An annual refresh keeps brows looking their best.

How long is the healing process?

The surface heals in about 7 to 10 days, during which brows appear darker and may lightly flake. Full healing takes 4 to 6 weeks as the pigment settles into its true, softer shade.

What is the touch-up process?

A perfecting touch-up is done 6 to 8 weeks after the first session, once healing is complete. It refines stroke definition, adjusts the shade and ensures even retention — it's part of the process, not an extra.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin and ibuprofen for 24 hours before your session, and avoid retinol and exfoliating products near the brows for one week. Come as you are — Jade will map and design everything with you before any work begins.

03

Lip Blush

What is lip blush?

Lip blush is a semi-permanent technique that enhances the lips with a soft wash of colour — improving definition, symmetry and natural tone. The result is lips that look fuller, more even and naturally flushed, without looking obviously treated.

Does lip blush hurt?

Most clients describe a light vibration or mild scratching rather than pain. A topical numbing cream is applied before and refreshed during the session, and Jade works gently in soft passes. Lips are sensitive, but the experience is far more comfortable than most people expect.

How long does lip blush last?

Typically 2 to 4 years, softening gradually as your skin renews itself. Sun exposure, smoking and exfoliating products fade it sooner. A refresh session every couple of years keeps the colour at its best.

What about the "ghost phase" during healing?

Lips feel slightly swollen for the first day or two, then become dry and flaky for about a week. The colour appears bold at first, then fades dramatically during healing — the "ghost phase" is completely normal — and re-blooms to its true soft shade by week four to six.

I have a history of cold sores. Can I still get lip blush?

Yes, but with a precaution. Any procedure in the lip area can trigger a cold sore outbreak if you carry the HSV-1 virus. A preventive antiviral from your doctor beforehand handles this — Jade will remind you to sort it before your appointment.

How is the colour chosen?

Together, during your session. Jade studies your natural lip tone, your skin's undertone and the look you want — a barely-there rosy tint or a slightly deeper flush — then blends a custom pigment. The goal is always a shade that looks like yours, only better.

04

Semi-Permanent Eyeliner

What styles of eyeliner are possible?

From a lash enhancement — pigment placed between the lashes so the lash line simply looks naturally fuller — to a softly defined classic liner. During your session, Jade designs the style with you, always in proportion to your eye shape.

Does it hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied before and refreshed during the session, so most clients feel light pressure or a faint vibration rather than pain. The eye area is sensitive, but Jade works slowly and gently — many clients are surprised by how relaxed they feel.

How long does semi-permanent eyeliner last?

Typically 1 to 3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and sun exposure. The colour softens gradually rather than disappearing, and a refresh session restores it whenever you're ready.

What about lash extensions and contact lenses?

Lash extensions must be removed before your appointment and should stay off until the lash line is fully healed. Contact lenses come out for the session itself — bring glasses, and plan to wear them for a day or two if your eyes feel sensitive.

How should I prepare?

Pause lash growth serums two to four weeks before — they make the lash line extra sensitive. Avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin and ibuprofen for 24 hours, arrive without eye makeup, and bring your glasses if you wear contacts.

05

Facial Treatments

What kind of facials does Jade offer?

Jade performs medical-grade facials adapted to each client's skin — deep cleansing, hydration, calming and anti-aging treatments. She reads your skin at the start of every appointment and composes the session for what it needs that day, not from a fixed menu.

How often should I get a facial?

For most skin, every four to six weeks — the natural rhythm of your skin's renewal cycle. That said, even a seasonal facial makes a visible difference. Jade will suggest a rhythm based on your skin's needs, never on a sales script.

Do extractions hurt?

Done properly, extractions feel like brief pressure, not pain — and Jade only performs them where your skin genuinely needs it, after thorough steaming has softened everything. Sixteen years of practice makes for quick, gentle hands.

Will my skin break out after a facial?

A light purge can occasionally happen in the days after deep cleansing as congestion works its way out — it's short-lived and followed by clearer skin. Jade will tell you honestly whether to expect it based on your skin's condition.

Is a facial suitable for sensitive skin?

Absolutely — sensitive skin often benefits most from professional care. Jade adapts every product, temperature and technique to your skin's tolerance, and her medical esthetics background means reactive skin is read correctly, not treated by guesswork.

06

Microneedling

What can microneedling improve?

Fine lines, acne scarring, enlarged pores, uneven texture, dullness and overall skin firmness. It's one of the most versatile treatments in professional skincare because it works with your skin's own renewal process.

Does microneedling hurt?

A numbing cream is applied before the treatment, so most clients feel only a light prickling or vibration. Sensitive areas like the forehead can feel a little sharper for a moment, but the session is far more comfortable than people expect.

How many sessions will I need?

Most skin goals respond best to a series of 3 to 6 sessions, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. A single session leaves a lovely glow, but the series is what transforms texture, fine lines and scarring over time.

Is there downtime?

Very little. Skin looks flushed for 24 to 48 hours, and may feel dry or lightly flaky for a few days after. Most clients return to normal life the next morning — just with sunscreen and gentler skincare for a few days.

When will I see results?

A fresh glow appears within days as the skin recovers. The deeper changes — smoother texture, softer lines, faded scarring — build over 4 to 6 weeks, and keep improving for up to three months after a series.

07

Process & Preparation

What happens at my first appointment?

Everything starts with a conversation. Jade assesses your features, discusses what you're hoping for, and designs the shape or colour with you before any work begins. You have full approval over the design — nothing proceeds until you're happy.

How do I get in touch to ask a question?

The easiest way is a message on Instagram — @jadeellebeaute. You can also reach Jade by phone at +1 514 458-9442 or by email at jadeellebeaute@gmail.com. She reads every message personally.

Should I send a photo before my appointment?

For permanent makeup services, a reference photo of the look you want is always helpful — it gives Jade a starting point before you arrive. You can send one via Instagram DM.

Are there things I should avoid before any appointment?

As a general rule: no alcohol, aspirin or ibuprofen for 24 hours before (they thin the blood and affect healing), and no retinol or strong exfoliants near the treatment area for at least a week. Jade sends specific pre-care instructions for each service.

What is the aftercare like?

Jade sends you home with clear, simple aftercare for each service. The main principles: keep the area dry and product-free for the first 7 to 10 days, avoid direct sun, and skip the gym for a couple of days. She's always available via message for any questions during healing.

Can I come in if I'm pregnant or nursing?

Out of caution, Jade does not perform permanent makeup services during pregnancy or while nursing. Most skin treatments can be discussed — reach out and she'll be honest about what's appropriate for you.
